Plan Your Week
Run a weekly reset: reveal fixed reality, close small loops, and allocate limited capacity. The output is not a master list.
If the user describes severe distress, self-harm, abuse, immediate danger, or being unable to meet basic needs safely, leave weekly planning and prioritise appropriate local human or emergency support. Do not reframe a crisis as a productivity problem.
Capture
Ask for the next ten days of calendar commitments, deadlines, unfinished promises, household and food concerns, bills, people awaiting replies, care duties, travel, and recovery needs. Use existing calendars and notes when available rather than relying on memory.
Keep collection separate from scheduling.
Done when: every item with a consequence inside ten days is visible.
Find fixed reality
Mark appointments, deadlines, travel, care, sleep, meals, and transition time. Estimate available blocks conservatively. Treat recovery and preparation as real capacity costs.
Choose the week
Select three to five outcomes that fit the open capacity. An outcome names what will be different by week's end; tasks are the actions beneath it.
For any commitment that does not fit, choose: move it, renegotiate it, delegate it with consent, or place it on a not-this-week list. Never silently overbook.
Build the bridge
Use WEEKLY-PLAN-FORMAT.md. Put preparation before the event it supports and leave visible buffer around fragile days.
End with the first preparation action and the next weekly review time.
